Our Mission, Vision & Values

Cultural and spiritual connection guides everything we do.

We provide a sacred space to strengthen the spirit of Indigenous peoples. Using the teachings and ceremonies of our ancestors, we focus on recovery, healing, and building a healthy Native community.

Living the village way of life

We believe that all Native peoples deserve a place to connect with their spirit, and each other. Inspired by the dreams of our late founder, Helen Waukazoo, we envision a future where our urban Indian community thrives. We are committed to reclaiming our cultural ways that centuries of U.S. policy tried to destroy through forced relocation and assimilation. Essential to our vision, is a dedicated, safe place for Native relatives to gather, find services, secure affordable housing, and participate in cultural events and ceremonies.
